Introduced in 2007, the Flybridge is a two-level model. It was the first series made suitable for the revolutionary Volvo Penta IPS system, a joystick-operated pod-type boat drive system with counter-rotating forward-facing propellers. The Flybridge series is, however, also perfectly suitable for a conventional shaft-driven propulsion system.
The Flybridge is mainly built in semi-displacement, full aluminium (hard chine, moderate V hull design) designs, but can also be built in full aluminium fast-displacement (round bilged), aluminium planing (hard-chine, moderate V hull design) or steel full displacement (hard-chine or round bilged) versions.
Developed by our in-house design department based upon a concept from Guido de Groot, the Flybridge is available in both modern and classic versions. Usually built as a semi-displacement yacht, the Flybridge is available as an aluminium fast displacement boat. You can also choose between a flybridge or a wheelhouse set-up.
